Now, I’d like to make a couple of things clear.

Weight training for women does NOT make you look like a man. In fact, it’s extremely difficult for a woman to become as muscular as a man.

Women just don’t naturally have enough of the right hormones necessary to become bulky like bodybuilders you see in competitions. Unless you take some hormone supplement, it’s very unlikely that you’ll build up the bulk.

I’ve been training with weights for ages. But I still haven’t got to the point where I look in the mirror and say to myself “OMG, I look so bulky!”

And I’ll tell you something – I feel good about my body.

Another thing is, you can certainly achieve the best body shape possible. But you can’t have the body you can’t get.


What I mean is, if you’re not tall in the first place (like me), you’ll never have that “long and lean” figure that so many fitness trainers promise. However, you can have a lean and well toned body. And you’ll definitely look great. But you’ll look like you, not some celeb that you’re trying to copy.

What I’m saying is you can improve your body as much as your genes allow, but not more than that. Got it?
